Joao Jordao has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, holding various roles in companies such as Sensirion, u-blox, NXP Semiconductors, and ST-Ericsson. Joao has worked as a Head of ASIC Testing at Sensirion, where they were responsible for test concept and DfT, verification, evaluation, characterization, qualification, and production support. Joao also integrated electrical and sensor testing and provided support to OSATs. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Test Engineer at u-blox, where they were involved in the development and transfer of the production test solution for the company's first LTE/4G product. Joao also served as a Project Manager at NXP Semiconductors, a Project Leader for IC Test at Sensirion, and a Test and Product Engineering Manager at ST-Ericsson. In these roles, they were responsible for managing projects related to industrialization, production sustainability, and test solutions for various semiconductor products. Joao has demonstrated expertise in working with complex SiP and SoC products and has experience in developing efficient test solutions for mass production using high-quality industry standards. Joao began their career at NXP Semiconductors as a Test and Product Engineering Group Leader and Senior Test and Product Engineer, where they were responsible for the industrialization, production sustainability, and test solution development for multiple SiP and SoC products in advanced CMOS technologies. Joao has a strong background in test concept and test solution development and has worked on various technologies, including CMOS, Ramping Controller ICs, and audio interface ICs. Joao Jordao completed their High School education and also obtained a Professional Diploma of Level III (E.U. classification) in Electronics and Computer Science from Escola Secondaria Fonseca Benevides. Joao then went on to pursue higher education at Instituto Superior Técnico, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electronics and Computer Science.
