R&d Engineer at Sensirion

Luca Camellini has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Luca started their career as a System Administrator at Laboratorio di Calcolo e Multimedia - Università degli Studi di Milano in 2015, where they were responsible for maintaining and upgrading a Debian OS cluster. From 2017 to 2017, they worked as a Research Intern at The University of Edinburgh, where they designed and tested ultrathin polymeric membranes for acoustic applications. In 2018, they became a Visiting Research Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on the fabrication of superconducting devices in the Quantum Nanostructures and Nanofabrication Group. Currently, Luca works at Sensirion since 2019, initially as a Junior R&D Engineer and later promoted to an R&D Engineer position.

Luca Camellini completed their Bachelor's Degree in Physics at Università degli Studi di Milano from 2012 to 2016. Luca then pursued a Master's Degree in Micro and Nanotechnologies for Integrated Systems, first at Politecnico di Torino from 2016 to 2018, and later at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2017 to 2018. During their studies, Luca also obtained additional certifications, including a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in December 2018, an IELTS certificate with a Band Score of 8.0, indicating proficiency at CEFR C1/C2 level, from IDP Education Ltd in September 2015, and the European Computer Driving License from Associazione Italiana per l'Informatica ed il Calcolo Automatico in May 2010. Additionally, they achieved the "teld Deutsch B2 - Prädikat 'sehr gut'" certification from telc GmbH - The European Language Certificates in August 2021.
