Lucas Oehen

Lucas Oehen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Lucas currently works at Sensirion as a Senior Key Account Manager since July 2018. Before that, they worked at Curtiss-Wright Corporation where they held various roles. From May 2015 to June 2018, they were a Product Development Manager and led a team of 8 engineers in developing motion and motor controllers. Lucas successfully managed projects, collaborated on proposal preparation, and oversaw technical specifications. From November 2013 to May 2015, they served as a Senior Systems Engineer and provided technical consulting and leadership for key customer programs. Lucas defined and reviewed technical work packages and developed system and component requirement specifications. From February 2010 to November 2013, they worked as a Development and Commissioning Engineer and was an expert in embedded software for servo drive systems. Lucas developed software, designed architecture and control algorithms, and commissioned systems globally. Prior to that, they had an internship at TNO in 2009 where they developed a propulsion system for micro satellites. Lucas defined system requirements, developed the system, and created 3D models and dimensional drawings.

Lucas Oehen completed their Master of Science degree in Microengineering, with a focus on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2004 and 2009. In 2008, they also pursued a minor in Space Technology at EPFL.
