Lukas Sponfeldner

Lukas Sponfeldner is an experienced R&D Engineer at Sensirion since October 2023. Prior to this role, Lukas worked as a Forscher (Postdoktorand) at Universität Basel from June 2018 to October 2023, where responsibilities included designing and conducting optical experiments on self-built 2D semiconductor devices, culminating in a PhD thesis focused on excitonic responses and electronic ground states of two-dimensional semiconductors. Lukas holds a Master's degree in Applied and Engineering Physics from the Technical University of Munich, obtained in April 2018, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from the same institution, completed in 2015, along with a study period at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in late 2016.
