Manuel Becker

Manuel Becker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Manuel began their career in 2001 as a nurse in the central emergency room and later worked as a nurse in the operative intensive care unit at Städtisches Klinikum Karlsruhe gGmbH until 2004. In 2010, they completed an internship at Siemens in the Research & Development department. From 2011 to 2012, they worked on their Bachelor's thesis at PI (Physik Instrumente) Group in the Development Electronics department. In 2013, they worked on their Master's thesis at SEW Eurodrive in the Development of Mechatronics: Technology Group Encoders & Sensors department. Since 2013, they have been working at Sensirion, starting as a Junior R&D Engineer in the Sensor Innovation department and progressing to various roles, including R&D Engineer in Humidity Sensors, Gas Sensors, and Advanced Sensor Systems. Manuel'smost recent position at Sensirion is as a Program Manager, a role they began in June 2022.

From 2012 to 2013, Manuel pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Sensor System Technology at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.

Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Sensor Technology from the same institution. This occurred between the years 2008 and 2012.

Between 2004 and 2007, Manuel studied at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they specialized in Microsystems Technology as a Microtechnologist.

Lastly, from 1998 to 2001, Manuel attended the Evangelische Diakonissenanstalt Karlsruhe-Rüppurr and obtained a nursing degree.
