Marcel Spuler

Marcel Spuler has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. In their current role as the Head of Production Planning & Control at Sensirion AG since June 2022, they are responsible for strategic planning, control, and further development of production processes and logistics.

Prior to this, Marcel worked as a Lecturer & Edutainer at sfb Bildungszentrum starting in January 2020. Additionally, they served as the Head of Purchasing at PackSys Global AG from April 2021 to May 2022, and as the Group Leader for Planning, Purchasing & Logistics from July 2020 to March 2021.

Marcel's experience in supply chain management and production planning includes their role as the Supervisor of Supply Chain Management / Production Planning at Hapa AG from December 2017 to June 2020. There, they led a department responsible for production planning, warehouse management, and export for the pharmaceutical industry.

Prior to that, Marcel held the position of Specialist in Order Fulfillment & Purchase at SMC Pneumatik AG from May 2016 to November 2017.

Earlier in their career, Marcel worked at record group (agtatec ag) in various roles such as Buyer/Supply Chain Management from August 2011 to April 2016, Deputy Head of Warehouse from February 2010 to August 2011, and Polymechanic from March 2007 to February 2010.

Marcel's career began at Behr Mechanik GmbH as a Polymechanic in 2006.

Marcel Spuler's education history shows a progression of their studies and certifications. In 2002 to 2006, they obtained a Certified Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training in Polymechanic from msw-winterthur. Following this, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Certified Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Process Management with a focus on Production Planning from ipso Bildung.

In 2014 to 2015, Marcel furthered their education by earning an Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Enterprise Processes with a specialization in Process- and Supply Chain Management from sfb - esg - soa. Marcel then attended the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons from 2019 to 2020, where they completed a Master of Advanced Studies FH in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Finance.

In 2022, they enrolled at the ZHAW School of Management and Law to pursue a CAS in Digital Strategy & Value Creation.

Marcel Spuler has also acquired various additional certifications. In 2020, they obtained the Kursleiter SVEB 1 certification from the Schweizerischer Verband für Weiterbildung SVEB. In 2021, they received the Sicherheitsbeauftragter Brandschutz certification from the Swiss Safety Center AG, as well as the EASA Drohnenlizenz A1 / A3 und A2 from the Bundesamt für Zivilluftfahrt. Furthermore, in 2023, they achieved the Certified Project Management Associate IPMA Level D certification awarded by the VZPM - Verein zur Zertifizierung von Personen im Management.
