Martin also worked as a Pioneer Fellow, developing a business case for lithium-ion battery technology and laying the groundwork for the Aligned Graphite® Technology, which was commercialized by Battrion AG. Martin's earlier experience at ETH Zürich includes being a PhD student, where they conducted research on battery electrodes using 3D x-ray-tomography.
Martin began their career as an intern at STMicroelectronics in 2009 and then worked as an Embedded Software Developer at Cinerent AG in 2007.

Martin Ebner has a strong educational background in information technology and electrical engineering. Martin obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Micro- and Nanosystems at ETH Zürich, graduating in 2010. Martin also holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, which they earned from ETH Zürich in 2008.
