Philip Blaser

Philip Blaser has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Philip is currently working at Sensirion as an R&D Process Engineer since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Junior R&D Process Engineer at the same company from June 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Sensirion, Philip worked as a Research Assistant at ETH Zürich from October 2015 to May 2020. In this role, they were involved in consulting, evaluating, and applying performance enhancing products for various industrial partners at the Institute of Machine Tools and Manufacturing under the supervision of Prof. Konrad Wegener.

Philip also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at DMG MORI USA from October 2014 to January 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Trainee at Ernst Schweizer AG in August and September 2013, and as a Teaching Assistant at ETH Zürich from September to December 2012.

Philip'searly work experience includes a role as a Shop Assistant at Coop from September 2007 to February 2008. Overall, Philip Blaser has a well-rounded background in research, engineering, and teaching roles.

Philip Blaser has a strong education history in the field of Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering). Philip began their educational journey in 2008 at ETH Zürich, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Maschinenbau in 2013. Philip went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in the same field at ETH Zürich from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they also attended Kyoto University for a brief period, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Maschinenbau. Continuing their academic pursuits, Philip then enrolled at ETH Zürich for a PhD program in Maschinenbau, which lasted from 2015 to 2020. In October 2020, they obtained the additional certification of Doctor of Science from ETH Zürich.
