Alejandro Kayum Jimenez Zenteno is a highly skilled professional in the field of medical devices with extensive experience in microfabrication processes. Currently serving as the Microfabrication Process Lead at Sensome since June 2023, Alejandro previously held key positions at SmartCatch, including Innovation Manager and R&D Product Development Engineer from November 2018 to June 2023. Alejandro's academic foundation includes a PhD from LAAS-CNRS, where focus was on the development of medical microdevices for isolating circulating tumor cells. Additional experience spans various roles, including internships and research positions at institutions such as the Institut des Sciences Analytiques and Facultad de Ciencias, UNAM. Alejandro has earned multiple Master's degrees in Micro and Nano Technologies from prestigious institutions including EPFL, Grenoble INP - UGA, and Politecnico di Torino, following a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
