Rakesh Jain

Rakesh Jain has a diverse work experience in the field of semiconductors and optoelectronics. Rakesh started their career at Crystal Photonics, Inc. in 2000 as a Growth Engineer. Rakesh then joined Uniroyal Optoelectronics in 2001 as an Epi Manufacturing Engineer. In 2002, they moved to Sensor Electronic Technology, Inc. where they held various roles including Epitaxial Growth Engineer, Manager of Advanced Epi Technology, Director of the Epitaxy Department, and Vice President. Currently, they serve as the President and CEO of Sensor Electronic Technology, Inc.

Rakesh Jain earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their M.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of South Florida from 1997 to 2000. Rakesh Jain's undergraduate studies took place at Maharashtra Institute of Technology, where they obtained a B.E. degree from 1992 to 1996.
