Davide Venturelli has a diverse work experience in various companies and organizations. Davide started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Scuola Normale Superiore, where they conducted research in the field of condensed matter and quantum information. Davide then joined Archon - SophyAI, where they served as the Founder and Vice President, leading the development and installation of autonomous robots in industrial settings. Davide co-founded SensoriumTL and currently works as a Business Advisor for the company.

Venturelli also worked at multiple startups, providing technical and business advisory services in fields such as AI, Quantum Technologies, Cybersecurity, and Quantitative Finance. Davide has been an Advisory Board and Consultant for various VC and startup programs, including Singularity University, TechStars, and Plug&Play.

Furthermore, Venturelli served as the Associate Director of Quantum Technologies at USRA, managing science operations and conducting research at the Quantum Artificial Intelligence Laboratory located at NASA Ames Research Center. Davide was also involved in programs related to quantum and unconventional computing. Davide held the role of Senior Scientist and Manager at USRA from 2018 to 2019 and Scientist from 2015 to 2017. Prior to their work at USRA, they served as a Senior Research Scientist at NASA Ames Research Center.

Additionally, Venturelli worked as an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, teaching quantum computing methods. Davide has a strong academic background and has published research in various scientific journals.

Davide Venturelli obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia from 2002 to 2005. Davide then pursued a Master's degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at the École normale supérieure de Lyon from 2005 to 2007. Davide further continued their education, undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theory of the Condensed Matter and Computer Simulations at SISSA from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, during the same period, they pursued another Ph.D. in Nanophysics at the Université Grenoble Alpes. In 2010 to 2012, Davide earned a Master's degree in International Political Science and Diplomatic Studies from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna. Davide also participated in the Singularity University Graduate Program (now Global Solutions Program) in 2012.
