Mauricio Melgar

Mauricio Melgar's work experience includes various roles in finance and management. Mauricio started their career at Cervecería Hondureña as a Human Resources Analyst intern. Mauricio then worked as a Customer Service Representative at Allied Global Contact Center & BPO. After that, they volunteered as an Administrative Assistant at the Multilingual Language & Cultural Society. Mauricio gained more financial experience as a Financial Assistant intern at The Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, where they suggested and designed a credit-collection policy. Mauricio then joined Johnson Controls as a Business Financial Analyst, where they actively participated in monthly closings, forecasts, and budget processes. Mauricio later became the Salesforce Effectiveness Leader for Latin America, managing risk profile analysis and sales activity tracking. Mauricio then transitioned to Sensormatic, first as a Finance Lead for Latin America, overseeing the financial management of the Loss Prevention business segment. Mauricio then became a Senior Finance Manager, partnering with the LATAM General Manager and providing financial support for strategic initiatives. Currently, at Sensormatic, they serve as the Finance Director for Technology, responsible for driving strategic financial execution for the Chief Technology Office.

Mauricio Melgar completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in both Finance and Banking, as well as Industrial Business Administration, from Universidad Tecnologica Centroamericana. Mauricio attended the university from 2008 to 2012. Following this, Mauricio pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a field of study in Business Administration and Management, General, at Palm Beach Atlantic University from 2012 to 2014.
