Ember Van Allen

Ember Van Allen has a long and varied work experience. From 2011 to present, they have been the Director of Speech Technology Development and Staff Linguist and Technologist Manager at Sensory, Inc. From 2011 to 2006, they were a Linguist at H5. From 2010 to 2006, they were a Senior Tester at LogicTree Corporation, providing testing and transcription services in both English and Spanish for Interactive Voice Response (IVR) transit and traffic systems (e.g. 511 systems). Finally, from 2006 to 2011, they were a Discourse Analyst/Linguist at H5.

Ember Van Allen received their Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2004, having begun their studies there in 2000. Ember subsequently earned a Master of Arts in Linguistics from the same university in 2006.
