John Coughlin

John Coughlin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare analytics and informatics. Currently serving as Vice President of Informatics & Analytics at Sentara Health since July 2016, John Coughlin oversees data strategy, governance, population health, and predictive analytics among other areas. Prior to Sentara Health, John Coughlin held the position of Director of Enterprise Analytics at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, and previously served as Assistant Director of Analytics and Reporting at Community Care of North Carolina, where responsibilities included managing healthcare data analytics for new business populations. Earlier roles include managing data analysis at TriCenturion and information systems management at Washtenaw Intermediate School District. John Coughlin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame.
