Sheri Reed

Sheri Reed, PMP, currently serves as the VP of Information Systems at Sentara Healthcare since April 2021. Prior to this role, Sheri held the position of Staff Vice President of Technology at Anthem, Inc., where responsibilities included IT portfolio and project management from December 2011. From January 2003 to January 2010, Sheri served as VP of IT Enterprise Agile at Smithfield Packing, overseeing logistics financial reporting and transportation planning systems. Earlier experience includes the role of Sr. IT Account Manager, focusing on system implementations and acting as a liaison between business executives and IT. Sheri's career began at The New York Times Company Shared Services Center, where positions ranged from Executive Director of Employee Services to Manager of Employee Services Application Support, managing teams and implementing systems including PeopleSoft HRMS ERP. Sheri holds a BSBA in Management Information Systems from Old Dominion University, earned between 1985 and 1989.
