Kanya Rajangam

Dr. Kanya Rajangam is the current Chief Medical & Development Officer at Senti Biosciences. Kanya has over 20 years of experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry, including previous positions as Chief Medical Officer at Turnstone Biologics, Nkarta Therapeutics, Inc., and Atara Biotherapeutics. Kanya has also served as the Chief Medical Officer at Cleave Biosciences, Inc., and Nektar Therapeutics. Prior to their current position, Dr. Rajangam was the Sr. Medical Director at Onyx Pharmaceuticals from April 2011 to February 2015. Kanya began their career as a research scientist at Baxter Healthcare Corporation from November 2006 to December 2007, before becoming a research specialist at Northwestern University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Illinois at Chicago from July 2000 to September 2002.

Kanya Rajangam completed their KG, Primary, Middle and High School at Sri Aurobindo Memorial School, Bangalore. Kanya then completed their PUC at Bangalore University in Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology. Kanya then attended St. John's Medical College, Bangalore for their MBBS degree in medical school. Afterwards, they completed a residency in General Surgery at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research. Lastly, they obtained their PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.

Kanya Rajangam reports to Tim Lu, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Karin Thacker - VP & Head, Regulatory & Quality, Deborah Knobelman - CFO, and Philip Lee - Co-Founder & COO.
