Dionte Pounds began their career in 2012 as an Intern at Sun King Brewing Company, where they were responsible for increasing the brand's awareness. Dionte also held an Intern position at Harlan Laboratories, Inc., where they reported market research information to the Global Manager of Research Models and Teklad Diets. Additionally, Dionte served as a Social Media and Communications Intern at Indiana University Bloomington, where they were responsible for updating the IUB Psychology Department's Facebook page and Twitter feed, managing public relations, and interviewing faculty and student groups.
In 2014, Dionte joined 3Q Digital, a Harte Hanks Company, as a Search Account Manager II. In this role, they directed multi-channel strategy for four clients totaling over $400,000 in monthly spend, communicated directly with key stakeholders at organizations, created plans based on client desires, and oversaw creative testing. Dionte was then promoted to Search Account Manager and Account Coordinator- Search, where they served as the direct point of contact for e-commerce and lead-gen clients and provided support to Account Managers through the execution of daily production tasks.
In 2017, Dionte joined Sentic as a Partner + Director of Client Services, Customer Success Director, and Customer Success Account Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing relationships of both keystone customers and agency partnerships, driving customer success through the Sentic Technologies product suite, and developing internal processes for customer onboarding, performance reporting, and communication.
Dionte Pounds obtained their High School Diploma from Park Tudor School in 2009. Dionte then attended Indiana University Bloomington, graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In 2014, they obtained several certifications from Marin Software, including Account Administration Certified Specialist, Bing Ads Accredited Professional, Campaign Management Certified Specialist, Marin Reporting Certified Specialist, and Marin Search Certified Specialist. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained a Google AdWords certification from Google, and in 2016, a Google Analytics certification.
