Jill Akens

Jill Akens is a Neurophysiologist with extensive experience at Texas Intraoperative Monitoring, serving since July 2008 in the dual role of Neurophysiologist and IOM. Jill specializes in assessing patients during pre-operative stages and administering nerve and spinal cord monitoring during surgeries. Jill obtained a degree in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology from Lipscomb University, where studies were completed between 2000 and 2004. Currently, Jill is also associated with Sentient Medical Systems in the same capacity.
