Jinnan (Frank) Hu

Jinnan (Frank) Hu has over seven years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. In 2013, they began their career as a Computational Biologist - Postdoc Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory with the Joint Genome Institute. In 2014, they moved to BGI Americas Corporation as an Application Scientist. In 2015, they began volunteering with the Chinese American Biopharmaceutical Society (CABS) as a member of the Executive Committee and Co-Chair of the Alliance Management Committee. In 2017, they joined Predicine Inc. as a Senior Application Scientist, and in 2018, they moved to Sentieon as a Senior Product Manager and Senior Bioinformatics Scientist.

Jinnan (Frank) Hu's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbe Genomics from The Ohio State University between 2008 and 2013, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry from Nanjing University between 2004 and 2008, and a High School degree from The High School affiliated to Nanjing Normal University between 2001 and 2004. Jinnan (Frank) has also obtained two additional certifications, Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals from Coursera in November 2020 and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Six Sigma Global Institute in November 2019.
