Ashley Williams

Ashley Williams has extensive work experience in the technology industry. In 2019, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Sentiment Search, a social media analytics solution for restaurants and hotels. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2019, they were a Software Engineering Contractor at Sentiment Search, where they refreshed the web front-end for their sentiment analysis product. Ashley updated the codebase from AngularJS to Vue.js and Typescript.

From 2012 to 2019, Ashley held multiple roles at Nxtera at Verint. Ashley initially joined as a Product Expert and also worked part-time as a technical advisor for a company launching an app for university students. Later, they became the Head of Core Development after Nxtera at Verint acquired the previous business. In this role, they oversaw all product development and focused on integrating the new business into the existing sales pipeline. Ashley also led the Tactical Development team, focusing on the product roadmap and client integrations. Additionally, as a Software Engineer, Ashley developed a .NET product suite for automated testing and monitoring in the media, finance, and banking sectors.

In 2011, Ashley interned at Standard Chartered Bank in the Alternative Asset Group. Ashley also completed internships at Standard Chartered Bank and Credit Suisse in 2010 as part of their technology internship programs.

From 2008 to 2012, Ashley Williams studied Mathematics and Physics at the University of Warwick, earning a Master of (MMathPhys) degree.
