Samo Vodopivec

Samo Vodopivec has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2010, they worked as a PhD Researcher at the Laboratory for Telecommunications Faculty of Electrical Engineering - LTFE. In 2015, they became a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at EMA d.o.o. Samo then moved to LXNAV d.o.o. in 2016, where they worked as an Embedded Software Developer, Solution Architect and Project Manager. Their role included embedded development on QT, Linux and STM32 platforms, IoT integration, product and workflow optimization, and customer support. Currently, they are a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Sentinel Marine Solutions.

Samo Vodopivec obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 2015, specializing in IoT and automotive communications. Samo also holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science, specializing in Computer and Information Sciences, Telecommunications, and Embedded.
