Nicholas Mendes

Nicholas Mendes has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Nicholas started their career as a CAD Drafter at American Air Balance Co., Inc. in April 2011 and worked there until May 2012. Nicholas then joined Gatlin Technical Svc as a Planning Engineer from May 2012 to October 2012, where they were responsible for developing advanced Excel spreadsheets, auditing construction work, and creating schedules for major projects.

In October 2012, Nicholas joined Berry Petroleum Company, LLC as a Production Engineer. Nicholas worked there until December 2013, developing technical presentations, utilizing statistical methods to evaluate well performance, and managing communication between different teams.

Next, Nicholas joined LINN Energy, LLC as a Production Engineer in December 2013. Nicholas held this position until May 2017 and continued to develop technical presentations, utilize statistical methods to evaluate well performance, and manage communication between teams.

Most recently, Nicholas has been working at Sentinel Peak Resources since 2017. Nicholas started as a Senior Reservoir Engineer from May 2017 to June 2019 and then transitioned to the role of Technical Team Lead starting in July 2019. No end date is specified for this position.

Nicholas Mendes received their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from UC Irvine, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Nicholas later pursued further education and earned a Master of Engineering degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2017 to 2020.
