Carl D. York

First Vice President at Sentinel Real Estate

Carl D. York is a First Vice President responsible for fair housing, policy training and risk management field work. Prior to joining Sentinel in 1984, Mr. York served as a District Manager for Triangle Associates, Inc. He holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and also the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) designations from the National Apartment Association (NAA). Mr. York is a licensed Indiana and Illinois Real Estate Broker. He has received accreditation by the National and Indiana Apartment Associations as an instructor of CAM and CAPS courses and is also approved to teach fair housing and ethics courses by the State of Indiana. Mr. York is a member of IREM, the NAA, Indiana Association of Realtors and the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Indiana Apartment Association. He serves as the Chairman of the IREM Ethics Committee, which oversees all ethics education and enforcement for IREM membership. He is also a member of IREM’s Governing Council. He has served as chairman of the IAR Equal Opportunity in Housing committee and the IREM National Fair Housing and International Affairs Committees.
