Melissa Penner Dnp

Melissa Penner DNP, MSN, MATL, RN, CHSE, CNE serves as the Director of Healthcare Content Development at Sentinel U® since February 2020, specializing in innovative virtual clinical simulations for healthcare providers and students. Melissa holds the position of Associate Professor at Post University, contributing to both the BSN and MSN programs since 2013, with a focus on online education since 2021. Previous roles include MSN Program Chair at American Sentinel University and various positions at Kaplan University, where responsibilities included managing a national simulation program and teaching in MSN, BSN, and ADN programs. Melissa began a nursing career as a Registered Nurse at Iowa Health System and earned multiple degrees in nursing education and leadership, including a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from American Sentinel University.
