John Feeney

John Feeney has had a long and varied career in the field of human performance and cyber related projects. John began their career in 1988 as a Computer Scientist at GE Aerospace. In 1989, they moved to SAIC as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the development of modeling and simulation tools for the AIM-9x program. In 1995, they joined the National Defense University as a Professor of Behavioral Science and Graduate Research Fellow. In 2002, they became the Defense Modeling and Simulation Office (DMS0) Visiting Professor at the National Defense University, IRM College, teaching modeling, simulation and evaluation of emerging technologies to senior Department of Defense and Federal Agencies. In 2006, they joined Aptima, Inc. as Manager of Dayton Operations and Principal Research Engineer, FSO/ISSM, working a broad range of human performance and cyber related projects. In 2020, they co-founded Sentinel Occupational Safety.

John Feeney received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Experimental Psychology from The Catholic University of America in 2000. John obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science from the State University of New York College at Oswego in 1987.
