Denzil Naggan

Denzil Naggan has a diverse work experience starting from 2007 in various roles at MTN, a telecommunications company. Denzil worked as a Data Specialist from October 2007 to May 2008 before transitioning to the role of Call Centre Supervisor/Line Manager for a brief period. Subsequently, they became a Value-Added Services Engineer from August 2008 to May 2016. From June 2016 to April 2018, Denzil served as a System Planning Engineer, responsible for the mediation system's functioning. Following this, they became a Design Authority, ensuring complete assurance for fintech, digital, retail, and commercial telco and IoT product portfolios, from April 2018 to October 2020. Denzil then joined FNB South Africa as a Product Portfolio Manager from October 2020 to December 2022. After that, they worked at Sentinels as the Head of Product from December 2022 to May 2023. Currently, Denzil is serving as the Director of Product Management at Fenergo, starting from April 2023.

Denzil Naggan holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) Honours degree in Computer Science from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Denzil also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Informatics, obtained from the same university. In addition, Denzil attended the University of the Witwatersrand for an unspecified degree in an unspecified field of study. Prior to their university studies, Denzil attended Northwood Boys High School.

Denzil has also obtained various certifications, including "Product Management 101," "VPs and Directors of Product Management: Finding Excellence," "Agile Crash Course: Agile Project Management; Agile Delivery," "Advanced Product Management: Vision, Strategy & Metrics," "Marketing Fundamentals - Search Engine Optimization (SEO)," "Beginner's Guide to Data & Data Analytics," "Advanced Product Management: Leadership & Communication," "Complete Introduction to Microsoft Power BI," and "ITIL." These certifications were obtained from institutions such as Udemy and APMG-International, with the most recent certification obtained in November 2022.
