Mariam Elbarbary

Mariam Elbarbary has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mariam began their career as a Participant at ACM - ECPC in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Freelancer at Microsoft, where they contributed to the Aspire Woman project in the Citizenship department. Their responsibilities included social media marketing and event planning.

From 2014 to 2017, Mariam worked at Valeo as a Software Test Engineer. Here, they validated software and primarily focused on Radar Sensors and Ultrasonic sensors for various applications. Mariam also developed testing protocols, documented test results, and maintained records for analysis.

In 2017, Mariam joined ASML as a Senior Test Engineer, working in a scrum team with continuous integration and testing using Bamboo. Their duties included reviewing unit tests in C# on Visual Studio, monitoring code coverage, reviewing requirement documents, and writing/executing test cases.

From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Sioux as a Senior Test Engineer. In this role, they continued to contribute in a scrum environment, focused on testing and reviewing code.

Mariam was then employed at App Annie as a Mobile QA Engineer from 2018 to 2019.

In 2019, Mariam joined EVBox as a Software Engineer, Quality Assurance, and Automation. Mariam worked on software testing and automation, ensuring the quality of EV charging solutions. Mariam was promoted to the position of Senior Software Engineer in 2021 and continued until June 2022.

Following EVBox, Mariam worked at Rabobank as a Senior Test Engineer from October to December 2022. Their role involved testing and quality assurance.

Currently, Mariam is employed at Sentinels as a Senior Software Engineer in Test, a position they have held since January 2023.

Mariam Elbarbary obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Cairo University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Modern Narmer Language School from 1998 to 2008 for their secondary education. In terms of certifications, Mariam became ISTQB® Certified Tester at both the Foundation Level in November 2015, and the Advanced Level for Test Analyst in June 2017 and Test Manager in November 2017. Mariam also obtained a certificate for completing "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" course from Coursera in June 2015.
