Alex T. Mitchell

Mr. Alex T. Mitchell functions as VP, Operations for Sentry BioPharma Services, Inc. and brings technical expertise to this position via previous roles in mechanical engineering and design. Mr. Mitchell joined the Sentry team in 2015 and has held a variety of roles within the company.

Currently, Mr. Mitchell oversees Global Business Development, Operations, Manufacturing, and Sentry’s Facilities. Mr. Mitchell leverages his background in process design to foster the continual improvement of Sentry’s facilities and services offerings. During his tenure with Sentry, he has overseen additions of two custom validated temperature environments and construction of the company’s 30,000 SF facility expansion in 2019.

Mr. Mitchell’s educational background and professional experience are based in engineering, with an emphasis on mechanical design and process improvement. Mr. Mitchell received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University West Lafayette, with minors in Global Engineering Studies, Economics, and Management. In his spare time, he is an automobile and airplane enthusiast while logging extensive world travel.
