Eli Hooten

Eli Hooten is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Sentry since November 2022, focusing on engineering and product efforts following the acquisition of Codecov, where Eli held the position of CTO from October 2018 to November 2022. Eli was a co-founder and CTO of GameWisp, Inc., a fan funding platform for gaming content creators, prior to its acquisition in 2018. Earlier in the career, Eli contributed as a Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University's Human-Machine Teaming Laboratory and as an instructor in mathematics for high school students at the Murray State University Upward Bound Program. Eli holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Murray State University.
