Mechanical Design Engineer at Senva

Jake Rocker has five years of work experience. In 2017, they were an Engineering Intern at Laminating Company of America, where they obtained valuable experience in a lean manufacturing environment and utilized SolidWorks software to model, design and optimize manufacturing processes. Jake also researched and designed a conveyor system to improve manufacturing process efficiencies, obtained design quotations for the conveyor system, and met with potential vendors to review design concept and installation logistics. In 2019, they were an Engineering Intern at TTM Technologies, where they designed, manufactured, and tested an automated material unloader. Jake also designed and manufactured end of arm vacuum tooling to fit onto a six axis robotic arm and programed the robotic arm to pick product at the end of the line and place the product in a bin. In 2020, they became an Automation Engineer at TTM Technologies. Finally, in 2022, they became a Mechanical Design Engineer at Senva, Inc.

Jake Rocker obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University between 2016 and 2020. In 2022, they obtained three certifications from SolidProfessor: SOLIDWORKS Advanced Part Design, Foundations of Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and Fundamental Principles of GD&T.
