Eric J. Lee

Mr. Lee joined WCAS in 1999 and is a General Partner, a member of the Management Committee and Investment Committee, and Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (“WCAS”). The firm was founded in 1979, has raised and managed over $30 billion of capital, across 18 partnerships, and is a leading private equity investor in the Healthcare and Technology industries. Mr. Lee leads investments in the Technology sector with a focus on Financial Technology, Payments, Software, and Data and Analytics.

Prior to joining WCAS, Mr. Lee spent four years in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. first with the Mergers & Acquisitions department and then with the High Technology Group.

Mr. Lee graduated from Harvard College and previously served on the Boards of the Dalton School, Mt. Carmel Holy Rosary School, and the Museum of Arts and Design. He currently sits on the boards of Clearwater Analytics, Revel Systems, Green Street, and Avetta.
