Dawn Bunting, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

Dawn Bunting, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, is an experienced HR professional with a range of roles in various organizations. Dawn currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at SEP since January 2021. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Human Resources at AOTMP® from March 2020 to July 2020.

From January to September 2019, Dawn worked as the Director of Human Resources at rand* construction corporation. In this role, they provided strategic direction and operational execution of HR, payroll, and benefits management for a multi-state commercial interiors general contractor.

From 2010 to 2019, Dawn was the Director of Human Resources at Delaney Radiology, where they oversaw the overall HR, payroll, and benefits management of a 25-doctor radiology practice. During their tenure, they achieved various accomplishments such as reducing administrative workforce while increasing clinical workforce and implementing an Affirmative Action Plan in response to an OFCCP audit.

Prior to that, Dawn served as the Director of Human Resources at AssistedCare Management Group from 2009 to 2010, where they were responsible for managing the centralized HR department for a multi-site and multi-company organization. Dawn successfully designed and executed a full-cycle talent acquisition and onboarding process and centralized employee files for compliance.

Dawn also held the role of Contract Professional Development Instructor at Coastal Carolina Community College from 2008 to 2009 and was the Human Resources Manager at Tech Electronics, Inc. from 2003 to 2008.

Dawn Bunting, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, holds a Master of Science degree in Higher Education & Student Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington. Dawn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Ball State University. Prior to their higher education pursuits, Dawn attended Andrean High School. In addition to their formal education, Dawn has obtained certifications including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. Dawn is also a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and holds the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
