Noelle Webster-Milam

Director of UX at SEP

Noelle Webster-Milam has extensive work experience in the field of design and user experience. Noelle is currently a member of the Better Product Community and the Design Leadership Forum, where they contribute to advancing the practice of design leadership and fosters a community for learning and collaboration.

Prior to their current roles, Noelle held positions at SEP as the Director of UX and Lead Experience Architect. In these roles, they focused on UX strategies for startups to Fortune 100 companies, using Lean Startup practices to drive disruptive innovation in human experiences. Their work at SEP aimed to transform the company from an engineering-focused organization to a product design and development organization.

Before joining SEP, Noelle worked as a Sr. UX Designer at Angie's List, where they led the UX design for various aspects of the website, including search, review writing, and B2C experiences. Noelle collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and fluid user experiences.

Noelle's early career includes a role at MillerWhite, LLC as a Web Designer (Interaction Designer). In this role, they led web design projects for a range of clients, including non-profit, B2B, and B2C. Noelle also served as a Project Manager within many projects, working with cross-functional teams.

Noelle Webster-Milam began their education journey in 1995 at Crown Point High School, where they completed their high school education. Noelle then pursued a Bachelor's degree in New Media from an undisclosed institution, graduating in 2003. After several years, Noelle attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from the School of Informatics and Computing. Additionally, in January 2020, Noelle obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
