Oluseyi Ajala has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Oluseyi worked as an Automation Engineer at Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc, where they ensured the availability of PLC and DCS based control systems across field assets. Oluseyi also served as an Instrument Engineer at the same company, guaranteeing the availability of pneumatic and electrical-based instrumentation. Additionally, they worked as an IT Technical Analyst, installing operating systems and addressing computer hardware and software issues.

Prior to their time at Seplat Petroleum, Ajala was a Project Analyst at Chevron and a Retailer at Carphone Warehouse. Oluseyi also gained experience as a Junior Engineer at Sphere Medical, where they designed and delivered a digital replacement for a mechanical rotary knob in a DC pump.

After a brief period, in 2018, Oluseyi pursued further education at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and obtained a PLC-HMI Certificate of Achievement, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Continuing their educational pursuits, Oluseyi attended the University of Surrey from 2009 to 2011, where they pursued a degree in Multimedia Signal Processing and Communications within the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Before university, Oluseyi attended Brooklands College from 2003 to 2005, where they completed A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Computing.

In addition to their formal education, Oluseyi has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they earned the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health. Subsequently, in 2022, they attained the Verified International Academic Qualifications certification from the World Education Services. Most recently, in 2023, they became a Logix maintainer certified by Rockwell Automation.
