Eva Malessa is a Junior Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä, focusing on technology-enhanced literacy training for low-literate and non-literate adults learning Finnish as a second language. In previous roles, Eva contributed to the AllRead project, which evaluates the effectiveness of the GraphoLearn technology for literacy acquisition in multiple languages. Additional experience includes teaching English for Academic Purposes at INTO Newcastle University, facilitating German language classes at Newcastle University, and engaging in research presentations at various linguistic conferences. Eva holds a Master's degree in Linguistics and Language Acquisition from Newcastle University and an MPhil in Finnish-English-German language and culture from the University of Jyväskylä, complemented by subject teacher training in English and German.
