Sebastiaan Deforce

Sebastiaan Deforce has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Sebastiaan is currently the Director of Operations at Septentrio since June 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Global Supply Chain and Operations Manager at the same company from July 2020 to June 2021. Sebastiaan also served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Im Press starting from July 2019. Sebastiaan worked at ST Engineering iDirect as the Director of Global Supply Chain from October 2019 to July 2020. Before that, they held multiple roles at Newtec, including Member of the Management Board from April 2017 to September 2019, Director of Global Supply Chain from May 2015 to September 2019, R&D Program Manager from September 2013 to May 2015, and SAP Business Analyst from June 2009 to September 2013. Sebastiaan began their career at ArcelorMittal as a BI Quality Engineer from September 2008 to May 2009.

Sebastiaan Deforce attended Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven', Gent from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Information and Communication Technology. Sebastiaan then pursued a Master's degree in Business Economics at Ghent University from 2007 to 2009. In 2015 and 2016, Deforce attended Vlerick Business School for an Executive Master Class in Supply Chain Management.
