Jiyoung Chie Hwang

Jiyoung Chie Hwang is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Septerna since January 2024. Prior to this role, Jiyoung held the position of Senior Scientist I at 23andMe from September 2017 to January 2024, where responsibilities included leading protein engineering efforts for therapeutic programs, strategizing, budgeting, and overseeing timelines for experiments.
