Tom Cacioppo

Tom Cacioppo is currently the Sr. Director of Facilities & Lab Operations at Septerna, a position held since 2025. They previously served in various roles including Director of Facilities at both Nektar Therapeutics from 2015 to 2023 and a privately held biotechnology company from 2013 to 2023. Tom's earlier experience includes serving as Facilities Manager at Inhale/Nektar from 1996 to 2001 and Director of Facilities and EH&S at Cell Genesys from 2002 to 2009. They also worked as a PR&D Project Planner at Genentech from 2009 to 2010 and were the Sr. Director of Facilities EH&S at Five Prime Therapeutics, Inc. from 2010 to 2013. Prior to their current role, Tom was the Head of Facilities at Prolific Machines Inc. from 2023 to 2025.
