Steve Barber

Steve Barber has extensive experience in the telecommunications field, currently serving as CEO of Sepura since March 2002, where responsibilities include product management, product marketing, and strategic direction across narrowband and broadband standards. Prior roles at Sepura include Acting CEO and VP Group Strategy. Earlier career experiences include product management at Simoco, where Steve played a key role in advancing TETRA terminal technology, and operations management at Advanced Communications & Information Systems. An early career included positions at GEC-Marconi Transport Systems and British Telecom, focusing on real-time communication systems and digital telephone exchanges. Steve holds an HNC/HND in Telecommunications from Mander College.
