Alexander Kurze

Alexander Kurze currently serves as the Vice President of Products, Oncology at SeqOne Genomics since July 2024 and has been the Chief Executive Officer at Zyme Dx since November 2022. Previously, Alexander held various leadership roles at SOPHiA GENETICS, including Senior Director of Product Management and Director of Genomics - Cancer, from September 2016 to November 2022. Alexander's earlier experience includes roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where responsibilities included providing Next Generation Sequencing support in the UK, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Oxford, focusing on "Cohesin's role in transcription." Educational credentials include a D.Phil. in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and Master's degrees in Biotechnology from Scripps Research and Ecole Supérieure de Biotechnologie de Strasbourg.
