Etbarek Gebremedhin

Etbarek Gebremedhin is an experienced professional specializing in private sector engagement and skill development. Currently serving as a National Project Coordinator at sequa gGmbH since January 2021, Etbarek oversees the Job Partnership and Promotion for SMEs in Ethiopia project, aimed at enhancing the productivity and competitiveness of SMEs in the agri-food industry. Previous roles include National Coordinator for GIZ/Sequa gGmbH, where project management and coordination of cooperative training initiatives were key responsibilities. Founded Yitbarek Business Consulting in 2012 to support SMEs, and held project management roles with HWK Frankfurt and ECCSA. Etbarek also served as Dean and Vice Dean at Nile College, focusing on policy consistency and strategic development in higher education. Educational qualifications include Bachelor's degrees in Management and Accounting and Finance from Addis Ababa University and Unity University, respectively.
