Jeff Cleveland

Jeff Cleveland is an experienced data and software engineering professional with a strong background in data platforms and analytics. Currently serving as Principal Data Platform Engineer and Data Scientist at Sequel Med Tech, Jeff previously held positions as Principal Software Engineer for Data Platform and Cloud Data Services at Tripadvisor, where contributions included the migration from an on-prem Hadoop cluster to a cloud-based data lake and the development of ETL solutions. Other notable roles include Senior Manager of Data Warehouse Engineering at Transfix, and Director of Data at Buoy Health, overseeing Analytics, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams. Jeff's career began as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, advancing through various engineering and technical leadership positions at VMware, BBN Technologies, and Tripadvisor, resulting in a proven ability to manage teams and drive successful data projects.
