Cynthia Shubert has over 30 years of professional experience in the legal and human resources fields. Cynthia began their career in 1991 as a Legal Assistant and Paralegal at the Tulsa County Public Defender. In 2005, they joined The Joyce Law Firm as a Firm Administrator, where they were responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the law firm, facilities management, and building security. Cynthia also acted as a legal management team and paralegal for client SMC, Inc., ensuring legal compliance for general operations and human resources, contract management, and benefits administration. In the same year, Shubert joined SMC, Inc. as an HR Generalist, Technology Administrator, and Paralegal Consultant. In this role, they developed policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance for general operations and human resources, managed, developed, interpreted, negotiated, and reviewed a variety of contracts, business and real estate transactions, employment, severance, confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements, and directed and planned group benefits program for all locations (Oklahoma, Texas, California). Most recently, in 2021, Shubert became the Human Resources Director at Sequentur.

Cynthia Shubert holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Oklahoma State University, with a Pre-Law Concentration and a minor in Human Resources Management. Cynthia also holds an Associate of Science (AS) from Tulsa Community College, with a major in Management Information Systems (MIS). In addition, they have obtained a Civil / Commercial & Employment Mediation Certificate from The Mediation Institute (via Oklahoma State University) in May 2007, as well as a Family & Divorce Mediation Certificate from The Mediation Institute (via Oklahoma State University) in February 2007.
