Sarah Blanchfield serves as the Principal at Sequoia Ecological Consulting since March 2022. Previously, Sarah held the position of Associate Vice President and Department Manager for Planning at Michael Baker International from November 2020 to March 2022, leading a planning team of approximately 65 individuals across the northwestern US, providing a range of environmental and planning services. Earlier experience includes roles as Project Manager, Principal Consultant, Environmental Manager, and Environmental Supervisor at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from February 2011 to November 2020, and as Senior Environmental Planner at California Department of Transportation from October 2000 to February 2011, overseeing CEQA and NEPA compliance for major transportation projects. Sarah's career began with various archaeological tasks as an Archaeologist at ASC and Sonoma State from September 1997 to October 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Cultural Resources Management from Sonoma State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from California State University, Fresno.
