Chris Rasmussen

Chris Rasmussen currently serves as an Assistant Football Coach for the Sequoia Union High School District, focusing on girls' flag football since August 2025. In addition, Chris has been involved with Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in various capacities, including serving as a volunteer basketball coach and Athletic Director, where Chris coordinated the basketball program effectively. Previous roles include Policy & Procedure Administrator at Stanford University, Mental Health Commissioner and Chair of the Behavioral Health Commission for San Mateo County, and President of the Board of Directors for NAMI San Mateo County, where Chris led significant fundraising initiatives. Chris has also engaged with community organizations such as Downtown Streets Team and served as Assistant Basketball Coach at Foothill College. Other experiences include multiple roles within the Redwood City Police Department, emphasizing community engagement and public relations strategies. Chris's extensive background in sports coaching and mental health advocacy highlights a commitment to community service and youth development.
