Matthew Wohl

Matthew Wohl is an experienced educator currently serving as an English and ELD Teacher for Sequoia Union High School District since July 2023 and as an Adjunct Instructor teaching Curriculum Development at the University of San Francisco since May 2022. Prior to these roles, Matthew worked as an English and ELD Teacher at Jefferson Union High School District from June 2018 to July 2023 and completed a Student Teacher role at Aragon High School from February 2017 to June 2018. Additional experience includes positions as an English Teacher and Substitute Teacher at San Mateo Union High School District and serving as Site Director at Wingspan Arts Inc., where Matthew facilitated an afterschool arts program. An early career included working as an Instructional Assistant at The Avalon Academy, providing support to children with complex disabilities. Matthew holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of San Francisco and a degree in Interdisciplinary Computing in the Arts from UC San Diego.
