Emma Matthieson

Emma Matthieson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in experiential marketing and brand development. Currently serving as Senior Director at Sequoia Capital since November 2019, Emma enhances connections among founders, investors, and the community to facilitate their success. Previously, Emma launched and led VaynerMedia’s experiential division as Director of VaynerExperience, focusing on Fortune 500 brands. Emma's earlier roles include Director of Marketing at Dayglo Ventures, where significant brand growth was achieved for prominent entertainment venues, and Account Manager at VaynerMedia, establishing digital strategies for major clients. Emma also has a strong foundation in fundraising and development from roles at Ballet Tech and WCNI. Emma holds a BA in Philosophy and English from Connecticut College.
