Dr Abel Silva Vieira

Dr. Abel Silva Vieira is a Senior Planning Engineer at Seqwater since May 2023 and has served as an Adjunct Research Fellow at Griffith University since September 2020. Previously, Dr. Vieira held the position of Principal Urban Analytics Engineer at UACS Consulting Pty Ltd from March 2021 to May 2023 and worked as a Demand Analyst/Planning Engineer for the City of Gold Coast from August 2013 to March 2021, where responsibilities included managing the Local Government Infrastructure Plan financial model. Dr. Vieira holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from Griffith University (2013-2019), a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2011-2012), a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2002-2008), and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Kalmar University (2007).
