Geoff Slatyer has extensive work experience in project management and leadership roles. Geoff started their career as a Regional Manager Telecommunications Contracting at Transtel Australia and later worked as an Executive Director at Powerco Australia. Geoff also served as a Project Manager at Ergon Energy and Powerlink Australia. Geoff has demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects, stakeholder management, and implementing governance frameworks. Geoff has also held leadership positions such as Director/Owner at Helidon Natural Springs Motel. Most recently, they have worked at SEQ Water and Seqwater as Manager Asset Planning and Principal Project Manager Southern, respectively, where they have been responsible for integrated planning and asset management. Geoff's work experience spans over 20 years and covers various industries, including energy, water, and telecommunications.
Geoff Slatyer obtained an Associate Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland between 1989 and 1994. Geoff then pursued a Bachelor of Business degree in Management and Human Resources from Griffith University from 1994 to 1999. Geoff continued their education at Griffith University from 1999 to 2001, where they completed an Honours program. Lastly, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Business Administration and Project Management from the University of Southern Queensland between 2012 and 2016.
