Zackery Farrell has had a varied work experience, starting with a Manager/ Machine Maintenance Specialist role at Cuppa Yo Frozen Yogurt in 2010. Zackery then worked at Oregon State University UHDS from 2011-2015 in roles such as Maintenance Office Support and Fire and Safety Inspections Assistant. During this time, they also had a Seasonal Brewer internship at McMenamins Pubs & Breweries, where they were responsible for stocking the property bars with kegs and cases daily, while keeping a daily inventory of kegs and bottles; washing and filling Golden Gate kegs; monitoring fermentations via gravities, forced diacetyl tests, and carbonation levels; yeast harvesting and handling; and perfoming CIP on tanks as well as general brewery cleaning, sanitation and tidying. From 2015-2018, Zackery worked as a Brewer at Sunriver Brewing Company, and then moved to 10 Barrel Brewing Company as a Quality Assurance Lab Tech. Most recently, they have been working as a QC Scientist at Serán BioScience since 2022.
Zackery Farrell attended Summit High School from 2007 to 2011 and obtained a High School degree. Zackery then went on to attend Oregon State University from 2011 to 2015 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Fermentation Sciences, and Chemistry.
